The short version: use SickMap honestly, don’t harm other users, and remember it’s not a replacement for a clinician.
By using SickMap you agree to
Personal, non-commercial use
SickMap is provided for personal use by individuals tracking their own health or the health of people they are authorized to report on (e.g. a household member). Commercial scraping, resale, or redistribution of the data is not permitted.
Report honestly
Only submit symptoms you or an authorized household member actually experience. Fabricated reports degrade the signal for everyone — especially people who depend on the map to avoid outbreaks.
Be a good neighbour
Do not post dangerous medical advice, misinformation, or content that harasses other users. Remedies are community-driven and moderated; anything that could plausibly hurt someone gets removed.
Not a medical service
SickMap is an information and community tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from a licensed clinician. If symptoms are severe or worsening, seek professional help.
Moderation & account control
We may moderate, remove, or flag content that violates these rules. You can export your data or permanently delete your account and every associated report at any time from Profile.
